Book excursions in MyVoyage, through customer service or on board. Online additions currently close 72 hours before departure; after that, book on board, subject to availability. If a travel agent made your voyage booking, ask the agent to add the excursion for you. Book popular excursions early, since capacity is limited.

Should I book excursions before departure?

We recommend booking early because popular excursions can sell out. Advance bookings also help confirm that an excursion has enough participants to operate and make any refund easier to process.

What happens if Havila cancels my excursion?

If Havila or the excursion operator cancels your excursion, the amount paid for the excursion will be refunded. The refund method depends on where you booked it. Separate rules apply if you cancel, so check the applicable terms.

What types of excursions are available?

The programme includes cultural visits, sightseeing, food experiences and outdoor activities. Each excursion page describes the itinerary, season, duration, physical level and other suitability information.

What languages are excursions offered in?

Many excursions are offered in Norwegian, English and German, but language availability varies. Check the individual excursion description before booking.

Is food included on excursions?

Food inclusion varies by excursion. Check the excursion description to see whether a snack, drink or full meal is provided. If an excursion overlaps with an included onboard meal, that meal is not refunded.

What should I do if an excursion overlaps with an onboard meal?

Ask the restaurant team to arrange a dining time that does not conflict with your excursion. If that is not possible, Havly Café offers food throughout much of the day. Included meals missed because of an excursion are not refunded.

How physically demanding are the excursions, and are they accessible?

Each excursion has a physical level and suitability information. Most are level 1 or 2, but terrain, steps, vehicle access and other conditions vary. Review the individual description and contact customer service before booking if you have mobility or accessibility needs.

How is safety managed on excursions?

Havila requires excursion operators to follow agreed safety standards and local regulations. Follow the guide's instructions and tell the team in advance about any medical, mobility or other needs that may affect participation.
