Join an active and fun ATV safari from Honningsvåg to the iconic North Cape, one of the northernmost points on the European mainland.

Hop on your ATV and follow the scenic road across Magerøya Island, with photo stops and sweeping Arctic views along the way. Wear sturdy shoes and windproof clothing. The supplier provides all necessary equipment, including a helmet and an insulated suit if needed. A hot blackcurrant drink and a souvenir mug are included.
After meeting your guide on the pier and getting a safety briefing, you hop onto your ATV and follow the scenic road across Magerøya island towards the famous North Cape plateau.
The route climbs from the harbor and out of town, past dramatic coastline, open mountain moorland and sweeping views of the Barents Sea. Along the way, there are several short stops to enjoy the scenery and take photos from carefully chosen viewpoints. Your guide will share stories about life in the far north, local wildlife and what it’s like to live above the Arctic Circle.
At the North Cape, you have time to walk out to the Globe monument and the “Children of the Earth” sculpture, standing on the edge of the 307-metre-high cliff with the ocean stretching to the horizon. A hot blackcurrant drink is served, and you get to keep the mug as a small Arctic souvenir before driving back to Honningsvåg the same way.
This is an outdoor activity in an exposed Arctic landscape, and weather conditions can change quickly. Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license (class B), bring their physical driver’s license with them, and be over 18 years old. Passengers must be over 12 years old. Two passengers per ATV; if you wish to ride alone, two tickets must be purchased. The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, route, and content if necessary, including due to weather, terrain, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the summer season, there may be heavy traffic to and from North Cape, and time spent at the destination may therefore be reduced due to travel time. Entrance to the North Cape Hall is not included.
