A few kilometres outside the town of Kirkenes, your Arctic journey begins and Snowhotel Kirkenes is your gateway to untouched nature. On this excursion you're paired with your very own husky on a scenic hike you'll never forget.
At our summer camp, 160 wagging tails greet you in the husky kennel. After bonding with your four-legged hiking partner, the trek starts: a peaceful yet invigorating walk through varied terrain, embraced by the silence and beauty of the north.
Your husky willingly lends a pulling paw up the trail while the guide shares stories of the landscape, wildlife and life in the Arctic.
Reaching the plateau, we pause to absorb breathtaking views over fjords and peaks. Enjoy drinks and snacks in a truly unique setting, beside the haunting remains of a World War II airplane. Before returning, we visit our resident reindeer, and if the kennel has puppies, there’s time for cuddles and photos with these fluffy little explorers. This is more than a hike – it’s a journey into the heart of the Arctic.
