Depending on how quickly the group paddles as a whole, the route may be shortened. If the river freezes or it becomes very dark in December–January, paddling will take place only along the canal. During the winter season, participants should wear at least two layers of underwear under the dry suit, as well as a hat and mittens. In summer, it is recommended to wear waterproof trousers and a windproof jacket. In addition, it is advisable to use sunscreen, wear a cap, and bring water.
