The experience begins at 10:30 AM at Jektevik terminal in Bergen. Upon arrival, you can hand over your luggage at the counter. It will be tagged with your cabin number and delivered directly onboard — allowing you to enjoy the excursion without having to carry your bags. Your guide will meet you at the terminal and accompany the group throughout the tour.

At 11:00 AM, the tour departs by bus through Bergen’s city centre. As you pass by Grieghallen and Festplassen, your guide shares stories from Bergen’s past and present. The route takes you to Bryggen, the city's historic harbour district.

Here, you join a guided walk through narrow alleyways and colourful wooden buildings that make up this UNESCO World Heritage site. Bryggen tells the story of Bergen’s role in the Hanseatic trading network, and offers a closer look at its maritime heritage.

From Bryggen, the tour continues past St. Mary’s Church and the fish market, before heading toward Mount Ulriken. At the base station, you board the cable car, which takes you 643 metres above sea level.

At the top, you’ll enjoy a bowl of Bergen-style fish soup, followed by a Skillingsbolle — a cinnamon pastry said to have arrived with Hanseatic traders — with freshly brewed coffee or tea. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available. Please inform your guide of any food allergies at the beginning of the tour.

After the meal, the cable car brings you back down the mountain. The bus returns you to the terminal by 3:00 PM, just in time for check-in. Boarding for Havila Voyages begins at 4:00 PM.
