In the myriad of islands and islets around Rørvik, you will also find an overwhelming number of cages where the salmon swims in cold, clean waters and gets ready to reach the top of their career: dinner around the world.
Sea eagles can often be spotted hovering in the air. Admired, loved—and feared. On these islands, three-year-old Svanhild is said to have been taken by an eagle and transported to the eagle's nest hundreds of metres up the steep side of the mountain.
