The Lofoten Coastal Stopover package is a truly unique travel experience designed for guests who want flexibility combined with the comfort and security of a seamless journey with Havila Voyages.
The package includes hotel accommodation in Svolvær, perfectly aligned with our sailing schedule, while excursions and activities in Lofoten are selected and booked separately. This gives you complete freedom to explore Lofoten on your own terms – whether you prefer active days filled with adventures or a slower pace guided by nature. Havila Voyages is the only operator offering this type of stopover package. We recommend booking early.
Sailing with Havila Voyages: Seamless sailing with Havila Voyages on board two modern ships, staying in a Seaview Superior Double cabin.
Stopover in Lofoten: Sail from Kirkenes to Svolvær and spend 2 or 3-nights in magical Lofoten. Hop back on to the ship and sail towards Trondheim or Bergen.
Full board: Enjoy three daily meals on board – breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner prepared with high-quality, locally inspired ingredients.
Hotel accommodation with breakfast: Stay at a centrally located hotel in Svolvær, with breakfast included.
Not included: Accommodation in Kirkenes the night before departure with Havila Voyages is not included. This is recommended to avoid delays and other unforeseen events. We recommend Snow Resort Kirkenes or Thon Hotel Kirkenes. Transport between the airport and the hotel/port, as well as accommodation and/or onward travel from Trondheim or Bergen, is not included. Additional excursions during the coastal voyage and the stay in Lofoten can be added.

You choose what you want to do and when, and can book activities both before and during your stay. All bookings and communication take place directly with local providers, giving you flexibility, up-to-date availability, and a more personal experience. This gives you full control over the content, pace and level of your experiences – without having to commit in advance.
