Havila Voyages has announced that its second ship, Havila Castor, will start operating from Bergen on 10th May, a month later than planned.

Postpones first sailing

On the 24th November Havila Capella arrived in Bergen harbour as the first of the four new coastal cruise ships on the Classic Coastal Route, but the date for the first round trip must unfortunately be postponed to 12 December.

Changed time for first roundtrip

Delays related to Covid-19 pandemic and unusual and unexpecteid technical issues have forced Havila Voyages to adjust the sailing schedule and first roundtrip from Bergen is planned on the 1. December 2021.

First round voyage with Havila Capella

Following challenges at the yard and the company’s expectations for delivery of Havila Capella, the company now plans the first sailing between Bergen and Kirkenes to depart from Bergen on 26 September 2021.
